Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you access iavcei.org, including responsible use of monitoring information, third-party links, disclaimers, and limitations.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to iavcei.org, an editorial website published under the IAVCEI name (“IAVCEI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Editorial information only

The site publishes reviews, comparisons, and educational material about phone tracking, monitoring, online safety, and related software. The content is general information, not legal, cybersecurity, professional, or product-specific advice.

Laws governing monitoring, interception, recording, access to accounts, employment, and parental supervision differ by location and circumstance. You are responsible for obtaining independent legal advice when needed and for complying with every law that applies to you.

Authorized and responsible use

Information on this site must be used only for lawful purposes. Monitoring software should be installed or used only on a device or account that you own or are legally authorized to administer, and only with notice and informed consent whenever applicable law requires it.

You must not use the site or its information to:

  • stalk, harass, threaten, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone;
  • intercept private communications or access a device, account, or data without lawful authorization;
  • evade consent, disclosure, employment, wiretap, privacy, or computer-access laws;
  • facilitate fraud, credential theft, extortion, intimate-partner abuse, or any other unlawful conduct; or
  • interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, scrape it abusively, or circumvent security controls.

Article titles or descriptions of product capabilities are not permission or legal advice to monitor a person secretly. Product availability does not make every use lawful.

No software sale or support

IAVCEI does not develop, license, install, operate, or provide technical support for the third-party monitoring products discussed on the site. We do not create user accounts for those products, process their payments, or control the data they collect. Questions, refunds, licenses, and technical issues relating to a product must be addressed to its provider.

Affiliate relationships

Some links and banners are paid, sponsored, or affiliate links. IAVCEI may receive compensation when a visitor clicks a link, registers, or purchases a product. This may affect which products are included or where they appear. It does not increase the price charged by the third party unless that party states otherwise.

Commercial relationships do not change your responsibility to evaluate whether a product is safe, suitable, and lawful for your circumstances. Read our Affiliate Disclosure.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep editorial information useful, but software features, compatibility, prices, laws, and provider policies can change. Content may contain errors, omissions, or information that is no longer current. Dates marked “Published” and “Update” identify editorial timing; they do not guarantee that every referenced fact was re-verified on that date.

We may change, remove, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Third-party websites

External websites are operated by independent parties. A link does not mean we control or guarantee the destination, its software, claims, security, data practices, terms, availability, or customer support. Your dealings with a third party are solely between you and that party. Review the third party’s current terms and privacy policy before providing information or making a purchase.

Intellectual property

The site design, original text, graphics, branding, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell, systematically extract, modify, or create a competing database from site content without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party names, logos, screenshots, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary, or review. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of IAVCEI.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, and availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IAVCEI and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, reputation, or business opportunity arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or a third-party product.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold IAVCEI and its contributors harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms apply together with mandatory laws that cannot be excluded by contract. We do not designate a fictional corporate domicile or governing state. A dispute is governed by the law and heard by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable conflict-of-law and consumer-protection rules.

Before filing a claim, you and IAVCEI should make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally, unless applicable law permits immediate relief.

Changes and severability

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and changing the “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from publication. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure form the relevant website notices. The alternate Terms and Conditions URL incorporates these Terms and does not create a different agreement.
